#97 Alone

Have a date with yourself

I restore myself when I’m alone.

Marilyn Monroe

Sometimes you’ve got to be alone
Count your blessings and your troubles
Alone
Trace your goals and plans
Map your progress and carve your fears
Alone
Realize you don’t know people that well
Even your most closest ones
Learn you must not need them consistently
That you should make it on your own as well
And that’s ok
But you will arrive at this conclusion

Alone.

Rebuilding yourself brick by brick
Fixing the doors and windows
Painting walls of a new color
Changing the furniture
ripping some old plants and decoration
Refurbishing your inner mind and soul
But you must do this
utterly and totally
Most of the times
Alone.

Only then you will listen closely
to what your heart clings
You will find the books to read…
