The Kiss – Gustav Klimit

“A kiss is a lovely trick designed by nature to stop speech when words become superfluous.”

– Ingrid Bergman

You’re bringing me home after dinner

Long dirty heavy looks all night

Mischievous thoughts all the time

The ones that burn and press flesh

reflexively making you squeeze your legs

and lose track of what’s happening

what we’re saying or where we are

It’s amazing how just one pair of eyes

locked on ours

can awaken so many disturbing possibilities

and wishes of endless sweaty afternoons

and nights and mornings…

We keep talking about superficial topics

but I can feel what we are both thinking

I can sense it in my glowy summer tanned skin

I can almost touch the hot air inside the car

with the flaming fantasy that blocks my brain

My dress goes slightly up when I sit straight

I streched my neck and tilted my head back

I stared at you once more
