“If you feel lost, disappointed, hesitant, or weak, return to yourself, to who you are, here and now and when you get there, you will discover yourself, like a lotus flower in full bloom, even in a muddy pond, beautiful and strong.”
Masaru Emoto, Secret Life of Water

Learning to live here and now
on things and above things
It’s one of the hardest life passages

You have to be still
breathe calmly and watch the details
hear the sounds and see the colors
knowing that if you wait long enough
Patiently enough
you will hear the colors and see the sounds.

Quiet your heart
All that is yours
If not now
it will come

Until then learn to stay focused
feeling the warm soil under your feet
following the spot of light in the sunsets
enjoying each meal slowly and meticulously
loving your humans with detail and attention
embracing your now.
